Information helps Nike plan with customers to build brand loyalty and stimulate demands. Instead of actually going to the headquarters of Nike, customers could easily utilize the world wide web to serve their customers' interests such as nikegoddess, nikerunning, nikebasketball, etc. This helps Nike continue its quest for higher sales and profits.

Timeliness and quality, in this case, should provide a faster method of providing headquarters with the proper decisions about orders. This way, by placing orders earlier, new trends and demands for their product could easily be taken into consideration. This has a direct relation with the law of supply and demand where the company utilizes every form of effective reporting mechanism so the company could remain on top of the competition.

Personally, I think, Nike should protect itself from piracy. Since the company uses offshore factories to produce for the Asian market, there should be safeguards against unscrupulous employees who copy and bastardize many of its products and eventually sell them to factories who copy goods.

Measures should also be taken to ensure the brands distinctive appeal to its customers. More safety and authentic seals and marks should be used; and Nike should provide customers with the assurance that what they are buying are authentic Nike products.

Sales and ordering, meanwhile, should still utilize the current system because it is relatively new in terms of its installation. The current system should be tweaked first before Nike introduces a new system where new procedures have to be taken into consideration.
